The primary objective of our business is the preservation of biological diversity. The production of oil has a significant negative influence on biodiversity in particular as well as the environment as a whole. For all of our projects at the impact assessment stage, we identify and evaluate environmental, social and health risks, and consider opportunities to improve our performance. At the same time, production activities are accompanied by environmental monitoring, which takes into account the biodiversity and sensitivity of ecosystems. The Society annually conducts the Monitoring of flora and fauna. Observations of the state of flora and fauna at the facilities of Turkistan Oil Refinery are carried out in accordance with the Production Environmental Control Program agreed with the authorized body in the field of environmental protection.
